About
A photographer working between the studio and the open road.
The work moves between two poles. In one direction, people: portraits and fashion frames built slowly, often in the last hour of light or against a single lamp. In the other, landscape: long form pictures made on foot, where the deciding factor is usually patience rather than equipment.
Both bodies of work share a preference for restraint. Compositions are quiet, colour is held back, and the subject is allowed to sit still inside the frame rather than perform for it.
Editorial and campaign commissions run alongside the personal work, as does a small print edition.
